[/u] These are powers that are only apparent to the owner and only affect them internally. Tier 1 powers should have little effect on the outside world and should have little to no destructive power. You are open to create your own tier 1 power; it only needs to be approved at the same time as your character application. If it is deemed as too destructive or strong to be a tier 1 power, don’t fret. You could easily use it as a tier 2 or tier 3 power.
After Project H was released onto Redwood Heights, the effects took a while to become apparent. Through mutation of human DNA, those affected started to display abilities never thought possible. At first, these changes were so minor that only those that have been mutated took notice. After a while, these so called ‘powers’ became more obvious as they became more destructive.
Every character will start out with a tier 1 power.
Tier 1 power examples:
Empathy- the ability to sense the emotions of others
Precognition- a sense or a vision of an event in the near future
Matter Manipulation- the ability to change the form of an object [ex: solid to liquid]
To receive a tier 2 power for a character, that character must have been in at least five threads or have twenty-five in character posts.[/u] Tier 2 powers are stronger than tier 1 and can have more affect on the outside world. This power must also build off of the tier 1 power. For example, if your character had empathy as a tier 1 power, the tier 2 power should be along the lines of thought reading or emotional manipulation, something that has to do with another human being and a mental manifestation. And to start using this power, all you have to do is contact an admin and get the power approved.
To receive a tier 3 power for a character, that character must have been in at least ten threads or have fifty in character posts.[/u] Tier 3 powers is when the power may become destructive or harmful to other people or surroundings. Just like tier 2 powers, a character’s tier 3 power must be based on the tier 1 power. It doesn’t necessarily have to branch off the tier 2 but must have some connection to the tier 1 power.
To receive a tier 4 power for a character, that character must have been in at least fifteen threads or have one-hundred in character posts.[/u] This is where the most freedom comes in, once you reach tier 4 powers, almost anything will be allowed. As long as this power follows the pattern the previous three set, it should be fine. Just about anything short of nuclear explosion or automatic killing of other characters would be fine.
